Sleeping on the back, side, and stomach, all require different pillow heights to properly support the spine. This project seeks to help restless sleepers who experience neck and back pain due to their pillow not supporting them in the varied positions they sleep in each night. This paper describes a pillow with 4 individual air sacs, a pneumatic circuit and a single 3-axial accelerometer attached to the user. A Feather nRF52832 was programmed to use accelerometer data to determine position and control solenoid valves that will send air through tubes into the airbags, to provide increased and individual neck and head support to the user.
